Acupuncture and Chinese medicine for hot flashes, night sweats, sleep and energy, alongside your doctor and any hormone therapy.

Menopause is reached after 12 months without a period. In Canada, the average age is 51. Symptoms such as hot flashes can continue for several years after.
After menopause, bone and heart health become more important, so regular check-ups with your doctor matter. Your doctor can also talk with you about hormone therapy. Complementary care can be used alongside.
"Nourish the roots, and the branches calm down."
In Chinese medicine, hot flashes and night sweats are often linked to a lower level of the body's cooling, nourishing side (Yin). Treatment aims to nourish and cool, and to calm the mind for better sleep.
