Acupuncture and Chinese medicine to support your body and your stress levels, whether you are trying naturally or with IUI or IVF.

Doctors usually recommend a fertility assessment after 12 months of trying, or after 6 months if you are 35 or older. Both partners are assessed: male factors are involved in a large share of cases.
Acupuncture is used by many people as complementary support while they try to conceive or go through IUI or IVF. Research results are mixed, and it does not replace medical fertility care. Many women value it to feel calmer, more supported and more in tune with their cycle.
"Nourish the soil before planting the seed."
Chinese medicine sees a regular, comfortable cycle as a sign of good balance. Fertility care focuses on nourishing the Kidney and Blood, and on keeping Qi moving freely, especially when stress is high.
An egg takes about three months to mature, so many women start acupuncture around three months before trying or before an IVF cycle.
